MAC - Inductive Linear Transducer
Robust and compact LVDT displacement sensor in three designs.
Special Features
- Very accurate for small measuring strokes (2..200 mm)
- In 3 designs (ball joints, probe, loose core)
- For harsh environmental conditions (up to IP68)
- Very long lifespan
- Suitable for high dynamics
The mechanical detection of linear movement is done by a front guided or loose push rod.
Available are versions as a probe (MACT) with inside spring return device, with ball joints (MACG) to compensate vertical or horizontal offset and with a loose push rod (MACL).
The inductive measurement principle of the MAC is configured with a casted spool in LVDT winding. Due to the contactless measurement principle long lifespan can be reached and permits high dynamic application, especially if small oscillating movement has to be detected and has high resolution also for movement in micro step. The robust construction of the inductive MAC with IP65 (optional IP67/IP68) sealing permits the use also in heavy duty applications.
