Wiper motors

Wiper motors are a simpler form of motor which consists of the motor part itself (the dc motor) and a worm gear, where the gearbox forms part of the motor end shield. This simple design makes the wiper motor cheaper, but on the other hand the requirements on such a motor can´t be the same in terms of lifetime, gear reduction selection, speed, mechanical strength, etc. But a thoroughly selected wiper motor is often a very good solution.
